The August 2022 GLSA | FOCM Networking Event

Life Sciences Networking Event: GLSA August 2022 Recap

The GLSA | FOCM Networking Event on August 17, 2022, was intentionally lighter in attendance, as many colleagues across the life sciences industry took advantage of the summer months for a well-deserved break. Even so, the discussion delivered valuable insights and practical takeaways for sponsors and service providers alike.

Our guest speaker, Michael O’Gorman, CEO of Life Science Marketplace, led an engaging demonstration of his innovative pricing and sourcing platform. During the session, Michael showed how sponsors and vendors can use the tool to connect more efficiently, access transparent pricing insights, and create a more competitive bidding environment.

Importantly, the platform allows vendors to clearly highlight their strengths and differentiate themselves beyond price alone—an ongoing challenge in the clinical research ecosystem.

Event Notes and Resources

Chris Matheus and Denise McNerney were unable to join the virtual meeting, as they were attending a live industry event in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the Level 7 Rooftop Bar.

For those who were unable to attend and would like to explore how to buy and sell through the Life Science Marketplace platform, a recording of the demonstration is available:

Looking Ahead

As always, GLSA remains focused on reinforcing our shared goal of improving patients’ lives across the globe. If you are interested in briefly presenting on an educational life sciences topic and helping shape future discussions, please leave a comment below and we’ll be in touch.
