March 16 GLSA | FOCM Networking Event Recap
On March 16, GLSA and FOCM hosted an online life sciences networking event focused on technology-driven approaches to modern clinical trials. As with each monthly session, the event opened with a featured presenter sharing insights during a brief, focused discussion.
Featured Presentation: Decentralized Clinical Trial Technology
This event featured Wessam Sonbol, Founder of Delve Health, who brings more than 23 years of experience in clinical research, including leadership roles in technology and product development. He founded Delve Health in 2018 to address growing challenges in trial execution through innovative, patient-centered technology.
During his presentation, Wessam outlined how Delve Health supports decentralized and hybrid clinical trials. The company’s solutions include ePRO and eCOA, eConsent, study task management, wearable and biosensor integration, EMR data collection, and real-world evidence capabilities. Together, these tools are designed to improve trial efficiency while enhancing the experience for patients, caregivers, investigators, and sponsors.
Discussion and Networking
Following the presentation, attendees participated in an interactive Q&A session. Newer participants then introduced themselves, shared their professional backgrounds, and discussed how the group could provide support or connections moving forward.
